My story

MEET MR. TUX - Watch his videos!Mr. Tux was adopted out from us as a kitten, but he was recently returned because his family could no longer care for him. Since he`s been back with us, we`ve gotten to know this big, gentle cat a bit better - in short, he`s a hidden gem! When we spend quiet time with him, Mr. Tux will lay in our lap, stretch out, and purr. With his super soft, glossy fur and lovely personality, it`s a delight to spend time with him. As far as we know, Mr. Tux briefly lived with another cat (and he`s doing fine in our Dedham Colony space), so he might like a feline friend to keep him company; however, he could also be your one and only. Mr. Tux gained a lot of weight since he was here previously. It will therefore be important for his adopter to seek guidance from a veterinarian on how he can reach a healthier weight. He`s been playing with a wand toy lately here at the shelter, so exercise is a good place to start! Mr. Tux is less than 2 years old so he has a lifetime of sweet company to offer.
