My story

Monty is the sweetest, most affectionate companion you could ask for! With his serious face and squishy "meatball" charm, Monty is all about love and loyalty. He’ll greet you with enthusiastic tail wags, kisses, and playful jumps whenever you come home—his way of saying, "You’re my favorite person!" This senior gentleman is fully house-trained, quiet, low-key, and well-behaved at home. Monty has the run of the house when you’re out and prefers snoozing on your bed or lounging on the couch until you return. Monty’s mellow personality makes him the ultimate couch potato, but he’s always up for a walk, which he enjoys with excellent leash manners. He’s also a great car companion, calmly riding along for adventures. Monty is incredibly smart and has a unique way of communicating his needs—he’ll nudge your knee with his nose and give you a meaningful look to let you know when it’s time for food, treats, or a potty break. His favorite toy is a big stuffed log with squirrels tucked inside, though he’ll occasionally grab a tennis ball for a quick round of play before returning to his favorite activity: snuggling by your side. While Monty is a little cautious around new people, he’s deeply loving and loyal once he trusts you. He’s happiest in a calm, quiet home where he can be your shadow, following you from room to room or cuddling up close at bedtime.
