My story

Hello, everyone! I'm Sally, a vibrant one-year-old Miniature Pinscher with a zest for life that's larger than my petite frame. I may have a heart defect, but that doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm all about play, cuddles, and making the most of every moment. I'm a little dog with a big personality. At just 20 pounds, I absolutely adore being a lapdog and snuggling up on the couch or in bed. Belly rubs? Count me in! I'll shower you with kisses to show my appreciation. I am currently learning how not to mouth. While I know you aren’t a chew toy I am still learning to that people don't like nibbles or nips and that chew toys are the way to go. I am still very puppyish in that I am still learning what  to chew and not chew, and I have been known to destroy a pair of underwear or socks (they smell like you). Despite my size, I see myself as a guardian of my home and family, so I'll alert you with my protective barks when I hear strange noises. I'm potty trained and excellent at letting you know when nature calls. Leash walking is a breeze for me, but because I can get a tad excited and pull, a harness is a great idea for our walks. Plus, I have a need for speed! If you have a backyard with at least a six-foot fence, I'll be in doggy heaven sprinting and running in joyful circles. I thrive in the company of other dogs, so I'm looking for a home with furry companions. My social nature means I'd be a great fit for a family who loves to be active and do things together. I've had positive interactions with men, women, and even some children at the park, so I'm open to being part of your loving family.
