My story

Meet Koda, our sweet heeler mix and the longest canine resident at the shelter. It's hard to understand why. With her striking features, signature big ears, and a personality full of charm, she’s an unforgettable girl who’s more than ready to find her forever home. While she may take time to warm up, her playful, affectionate side shines through once she trusts you. She absolutely adores her herding ball and will happily chase it for hours—it’s her favorite form of fun and enrichment. Outdoor time is also high on her list of loves, and she'd thrive in a home where she can stretch her legs and soak up the fresh air. She’s best suited to a home with experienced owners who don't have other pets or young children, where she can be the center of your world. Koda is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines!
