ABBY-Special Needs Sponsorship IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. We are deeply grateful for help. All of us, including board members, are volunteers only. Our veterinary references are available upon request. ABBY is a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever, about 11 years old. She was dumped at the pound, because she apparently has a birth defect in one of her legs, giving her an uneven gait. It does not seem to bother her, but it was enough to condemn her to death at the pound, and she was very sad in there. Abby gets along well with people and other dogs and is now a happy dog, but she is elderly and special needs since arthritis has begun bothering her.
