Didion

My story

Didion is a sweetheart of a cat. He absolutely loves to hang out with the people in his environment. He enjoys being petted, snuggling up on a lap, and running to chase a laser dot! He is a true cuddle bug! Didion would be a great cat for someone who works from home or a family that has time to dote on him. Didion is great with the resident cat he has been raised with but has not been thrilled with other cats who have been introduced into the household. He would be best adopted into a household with no other cats so he can be the focus of all the cat love and attention. Didion must be adopted as a solo cat and with his family understanding how important his is for his well being. Didion has a medical condition that requires twice a day very inexpensive medication. As a kitten he was diagnosed with a thyroid condition, which is very rare. Luckily, he is very easy to give a pill to! In addition to the medication, he will need to have bloodwork done once per year to ensure his medication dosage is still appropriate. With his medication, he is a healthy, happy cat and is expected to live a full life. He is truly not a fan of going to the vet and all the strange smells there so he would love someone who is willing to have a vet who makes housecalls rather than having to go into a vet's office. Having a mobile vet will be very important to his wellness and much less stressful for all!
