My story

Angel is here to chase balls and get belly rubs! She is such a lover, she goes up to anyone for pets and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Active by day, couch potato by night, this sweet girl is looking for a family with her brother, Charlie.  Age: 7.5 Years  Breed: Golden Doodle Weight: ~50 pounds Kid-Friendly: Yes.  AMAZING. Angel loves getting pet by my toddler. She is always very curious with what he is doing and often follows him from room to room. Dogs: Yes, submissive/cautious  Cats:  They are definitely curious! They would most likely play the chase game at first but in a nonviolent way. The cat in their foster home is the dominant one in the house and kind of mean so the foster parents kept them separate. They did live with 2 cats before being surrendered! Crate Trained: Yes. T hey go in there when we go out and about. Angel will bark when first put in there but she eventually calms down once things get quiet. Their original owner said that she had them sleep in there but they did bark when I tried that (I think it was part of the transition anxiety). But they were fine being left out at night. Leash trained: Yes, will pull if she sees a squirrel, the foster has been working on in Fenced yard: Angel will need a tall fence, she jumped out of her fosters fence (didn't run anywhere) when she saw a squirrel. She has since been put on a tie out when outside and there hasn't been any issues Potty Trained:  Yes, had some accidents the first few days in foster home but none since Health Concerns: None Adoption Fee: $550 for her and her brother together As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us.      Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine and if able, a microchip. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.  Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation. Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days. Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support! November 4, 2024, 7:47 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Angel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
