You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cookie – Your New Playtime Partner! Say hello to Cookie, a 2-year-old bundle of energy, charm, and curiosity! This handsome rescue cat is as independent as he is playful—he lives for games, especially anything on a stick. Wand toys? Lures? Tug of war? Yes, yes, and YES. Cookie plays with the enthusiasm of a kitten and the determination of a dog—once he’s got a toy in his mouth, good luck getting it back! Cookie doesn’t just love to play—he asks for it! He’ll trot right up to you with an adorable meow, ready for the next round of fun. He’s also super expressive and greets you at the door with excitement, usually leading you straight to his food bowl…more than once. When he’s not playing or politely demanding snacks, Cookie enjoys lounging by the window, watching the world go by. He’s a smart boy who uses his scratching post like a pro. Cookie gets along well with female cats and is all in for feline fun—but he’s not a fan of male cats, so a home with a lady cat companion (or no cats at all) would be ideal. He seems unbothered by small dogs, though slow introductions are always best. Kids are an unknown, so respectful older children might be a better fit. While Cookie is mostly independent, he has his snuggly side too—he’ll roll on his back and invite belly rubs when he’s in the mood.
