Just like a fine wine, Marlow has only gotten sweeter and more sophisticated with time. Soon enough, you’ll be swooning over her! Marlow is a 10-year-old kitty who knows that the best is yet to come! Her foster parent says that she has the best temperament ever! She wants nothing more than to love, and be loved in return. Marlow enjoys greeting you at the door when you get home, being held in your arms and the occasional belly rub! This social kitty loves being near her people, and if she realizes you’re gone, she might meow for you. That’s even more reason to stay home and by her side during the cold winter months! When it’s time to play, Marlow is a fun girl who enjoys interactive play with her people, and she has a soft spot for any dangling toys. She also previously lived well with another cat, so she might enjoy living in a quiet environment with a feline friend if they’re introduced slowly. Adopters should know that when Marlow walks, her back legs sway a bit, so we recommend making her living space easy to access with lots of soft surfaces. It would also help to prevent her from jumping up to high places. After all, she is royalty who deserves to be gently lifted—preferably atop a satin pillow! In the past, Marlow has also experienced anxiety-related litter box aversion. Staff are happy to offer tips to avoid any accidents in the future. Marlow would probably do best in a home with teens and up. Marlow has previously lived well with other cats. It is unknown how she would do with dogs. A Matchmaker will be able to provide you with information about Marlow’s medical needs. A Matchmaker can give you tips to help set Marlow up for success. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.* For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps. **The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!** April 26, 2024, 12:15 pm
