My story

Hi there! I'm Captain, a gentle boy who was rescued from a kill shelter by Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I'm on the lookout for my forever home, where I can feel safe and loved! At first, I can be a bit shy and timid, but with a little patience and understanding, I really open up and show my true personality. I just need a family who understands this! I get along well with other dogs, and having a furry friend in the home would definitely help me gain confidence and settle in more easily. Watching other dogs play gives me joy and helps me learn the ropes! I have a moderate energy level, which means I enjoy playful moments but also cherish those quiet times. I thrive in a calm environment where I can relax and feel secure. If you're looking for a sweet companion who just needs a little extra love and time to blossom, I might just be the perfect match for your family!
