How would you describe the cat's general personality? She is very sweet and affectionate with people. Does the cat enjoy being pet? Yes! She’s loves being pet! If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet? All over, but she especially loves chin scratches Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? She doesn’t like getting her nails clipped. Does the cat come on your lap? No, she’s only done that once or twice. Does the cat like to be held? Yes! My son always picks her up to cuddle. Does the cat sleep in your bed? Yes! That is her preferred mode of sleeping. Does the cat seek your attention? Most definitely. Does the cat like to play? She really likes catnip toys. What are the cat's favorite games and toys? Anything with catnip! How vocal is the cat? She is a vocal gal who lets you know she wants your attention. What kinds of sounds does the cat make? She meows and purrs, but if you try to clip her nails she will hiss and growl. Does the cat scratch a scratcher? Yes Does the cat always use the litter box? Always Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances? Never Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you? Never Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you? No Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)? No To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful? Very social - she LOVES humans. Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions? She loves to lick you! In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? She is the most affectionate cat we have ever met; she seeks out your attention, and she would be an amazing companion for someone who doesn’t have other animals. What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them? She absolutely doesn’t get along with cats or dogs. We tried on multiple occasions to introduce her to our resident cats and each time it was a failure. Therefore, we had to keep her in a separate area of the house for the safety of all.
