My story

We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Madison is a sweet, very loving pooch who just wants to be by your side. Her birthday is 1/11/2024. She is a sensitive girl who needs a moment to learn that you’re a friend. But once she is in a home and she feels safe her personality will blossom, and she will show you what a loving companion she can be. Madi will show you how much you mean to her by bringing you her favorite toy every time she sees you. She is very playful and energetic and extremely intelligent. She has already mastered “sit” “down” “let go” “leave it” and few other commands. When she plays Madi can sometimes get a little overexcited and forget about personal space. That is why she would do her best to join a home with kids over the age of 10. Madison does have a lot of energy that she needs to let out. She would need a family that is active. She would make a great running buddy! She loves to be outside and loves to go hiking. She is good with other dogs and would do great with a dog that has the same energy level as her. Madi doesn’t like the crate but have no fear she is fully house trained. If you are looking for a dog you can take of any adventure with you, that is super smart, is eager to please and is EXTREMELY loyal… Madison is your girl! My back story is below... A citizen who needed some help with six 13 DAY old puppies reached out to Heidi's Legacy. We stepped up...mom was no longer feeding them, and the citizen was not equipped to handle. 3 boys & 3 girls. The puppies were born January 11, 2024. DNA results are in from Embark. Check out the photos for results.
