Hemi

My story

Hemi is a gem of a dog! He came to AATDR when his family could no longer care for him. He's been living in a foster home and adores his foster family - but he totally deserves his very own new forever family. At about 6 years old, Hemi is totally accustomed to living in a home. He's a well-mannered guy! He's house trained, crate trained, does well walking on a leash, and knows all of his basics. True to his breed, he is a loyal member of the family and protective of his people. He does well with other dogs - we think he'd prefer a canine companion who has a relatively calm and laid back personality. He has done well with cats in the past, but hasn't been around them in quite a while. Hemi enjoys having children in his family - he'll do best with children 13 years old or older.
