My story

ABOUT SWEET PEACH Meet Sweet Peach, our beautiful four-year-old tabico girl! She came to HAP as a stray, so we aren't too sure about her past. We believe she was a housecat at one point in her life, because she has a lot of demands! Sweet Peach is a woman who knows what she likes and isn't afraid to tell you what she doesn't like! She is a very active girl, she loves to play and chase her human friends! She can be very sweet and affectionate, but only on her terms. We do think she'll be more affectionate in a household where she's the queen of the castle, however. **Sweet Peach has decided she likes cats now, but we do recommend very tolerant cats and a slow introduction, because she can be a little weirdo with no manners! We do think she'd do okay with a dog, so long as the dog is willing to be bossed around. We think she'd do best in an adult only home, though she may do okay with older kids who can respect her boundaries. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
