My story

ABOUT DJ! Meet DJ, our goofy four-year-old tabby boy! This sweet boy was brought to us after his owner could no longer care for him. While that can be a big change, DJ is a very brave boy and has settled in very well! DJ is a super active boy, and he loves to see what he can get into! He loves to play, with or without a buddy. He also loves to get up as high as he can, so he can get a birds-eye view of his domain! Every so often, he'll give little love nibbles, but it's never very hard. **DJ has previously done well with other cats, but since coming to the shelter, he is not a fan. We do think he'd do very well with dogs and older children. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
