My story

JoeJoe here. As you may recall, I was surrendered in May `24 along with my siblings. While none of us were known for our extroverted personalities, I was the shyest in the bunch. Because of this, I`ve been living in a foster home for quite a while. My foster mom recently gave the interviewer lady an update on me. Joe is doing well. He has been slowly opening up even more since he has been with me. He used to run and hide, but now he is walking around my place even when I am up and about. Occasionally he will let me pet him briefly. My neighbours have also been over and were able to pet him too. It does depend on the day. Now that the weather is getting warmer he enjoys sitting on the windowsill to watch the birds and cars drive past. Other than that everything else is still the same. Cautious is still Joe’s middle name. However, at night he really comes out of his shell. He hops up on the bed for some pets and makes a ton of biscuits on the blanket. My foster mom thinks I am a great cat, and she`s seen how my unique personality shines through. It will be a lengthy process for me to feel totally comfortable, but I`m worth the wait. I am 4-years and 11-months-old, neutered, litterbox trained, and have always lived with cats and kids. My coat is incredibly soft, and I enjoy a good petting session when I feel brave. If you`re a patient and understanding family, I could be the perfect fit for you. 4-28-25
