At just a year old, she’s already endured more than most dogs ever will. Neglected and confined to a crate for much of her life, Roxxi missed out on the joys of puppyhood—no long walks, no playtime, no one to teach her the ways of the world.Thanks to the determination of a kind-hearted rescuer, Roxxi was given a second chance. Now, she’s here with us, working hand in paw with our behavior team to catch up on everything she missed. She’s learning to trust, to play, and to simply be a dog—and her progress is nothing short of inspiring. Roxxi has done wonderfully meeting other dogs here at the shelter. She’s great at matching their energy—whether it’s zoomies or a more relaxed vibe, she knows how to fit in. She’s even discovered a love for fetch! Watching her race after a ball and bring it back with pride is enough to melt anyone’s heart.Roxxi is a gentle soul who craves love and connection. She may be shy at first, but with a little patience, you’ll see her true self emerge: a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to be by your side.This girl has a bright future ahead—she just needs someone willing to show her the way.
