My story

Caper the Sweetie came to us all the way from Tennessee. This quiet girl can be shy at first, but once she warms up, she is nothing but friendly, especially if she has a canine friend to bring out her tail-wagging side. Her favorite things are being outside, other dogs, and going on walks. She can spend an entire day hanging outside with her humans and dog friends and would do well with a yard or open space she can explore at her leisure. Caper is a medium energy dog, who would prefer just meandering around and exploring rather than playing or running. The ideal home would be a quiet, adult only setting where she gets to decide when she gets attention. She would do great with a patient family who loves her regardless of her shyness and understands that once she opens up, you're in: think lots of pets, belly rubs, and excited tail-wagging when you walk through the door. All she needs is a safe, loving home to bring out her endless sweetness. Caper loves every dog she meets and would thrive in a home with canine friends. While completely great with other dogs and humans, she can get spooked easily, so she may not enjoy a home with younger children.
