My story

Shaggy is a happy go lucky guy. His fluffy tail is always wagging! Shaggy is currently living in a foster home and is on a regular schedule with grooming, allergy shots and special diet to keep his fur and skin healthy. He has thrived in foster care and has been living with adults, dogs, and a cat. He gets along with everyone he meets. He is housebroken AND will use wee wee pads overnight if needed. Shaggy does have limited vision but he explores every new environment with a fearless approach and curiosity. He needs a few days to map out a new place and once he gets the lay of the land is hard to tell he is vision impaired. He has been loved and well cared for and now ready to find his forever! Our Golden Senior Boy Shaggy is 10-11 years old weighs about 33 pounds. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.
