My story

Hi everyone, my name is Lancelot and I was picked up as a stray in San Antonio. I was saved by Camo Rescue right before I was supposed to be euthanized. I am 10 years old and blind so I am looking for a special adopter who understands my fear of being picked up (although I am getting much better with medicine and time). I can get nippy and will tell you when I want to stay on the ground so a home with no small children is best. I've never lived in a house so it takes some time for me to get comfortable. I've been with my foster mom for 2 months and I get along great with her 3 dogs and other fosters. I've even learned to use the doggy door to go potty! I just got neutered and had a dental with some extractions. I am ready to find my perfect family! My adoption fee is waived to the right home. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
