My story

Meet Ezra — a 12-pound, 10-year-old Maltese with a heart as soft as his fluffy white fur. Life threw him a curveball and he found himself without a home, but he hasn’t let that dim his sweet spirit. Ezra is a gentleman when it comes to manners: he’s housetrained, doggie door savvy, and will comfortably wear a belly band indoors if necessary. Outdoors? He likes to remind the world it’s his yard, thank you very much. He’s still settling into new surroundings, and while he’s crate trained, he much prefers snoozing near his favorite human — your lap is basically his happy place. Ezra has cataracts, which can make getting around a bit trickier and may be contributing to his separation anxiety. He also has a harmless lipoma on his right side, which isn't causing him any problems. Ezra is great with other dogs and kids, but not a fan of cats. He’s looking for a calm, cozy home where he can enjoy life at his own gentle pace. If you’ve got a soft spot for senior snuggles and a heart big enough for a little guy who needs extra love, Ezra just might be your perfect match. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
