My story

Nugget is a special little Chihuahua mix with a heart as warm as his caramel-colored belly. At just three years old, this handsome boy has already shown remarkable resilience and intelligence, despite being a bit shy and skittish. When you first meet Nugget, you might notice his independent streak-he likes to take his time getting to know new people, often staying at a distance until he feels safe. But once you've earned his trust, you'll see a whole new side of him. When Nugget is happy, his entire body wiggles with joy, and he even makes the cutest little happy noises, especially when you come home. He's incredibly smart, responding to commands like "come, "let's go, and "in your crate, and he's especially motivated by treats-boiled chicken is a particular favorite. Though he may not always take food right away, with a little patience, Nugget will warm up and show his gentle nature. He loves his cozy dog bed and furry squeaky toys, often retreating to his safe space when he needs a break. Nugget's ideal forever home is with someone who understands the importance of giving him time, space, and reassurance. He would thrive with a patient, loving person who can spend one-on-one time with him, helping him build trust and confidence. Despite his cautious nature, Nugget has so much love to give. He's a beautiful little pup who has already blossomed in a short amount of time, showing just how kind and smart he is. With the right person, Nugget is ready to continue his journey of love and trust, bringing endless joy and wagging tails to his forever home.
