My story

Sweet, Mild-Mannered, Purr Machine Gashiki is a lanky, loving, laid-back old soul who just wants to kick back with you and enjoy the day. This quiet guy understands what’s important in life: soft spots to nap, head scritches, and a nice snack (his fav is Churu treats!). He’s fully blind, but don’t worry — he’s got the lay of the land and knows exactly where to find the couch, the front door, and most importantly, the litter box. Gashiki is super low-maintenance and perfect for someone with a slower-paced lifestyle. He’s content to snooze the day away while you’re at work, and when you’re home, he’s happy to lounge nearby or melt into your lap for a little affection. He may surprise you with his purrs, they are rumblers! Gashiki is not one to leap onto furniture, so some steps and a warm heating pad would make him feel extra comfy. This sweet boy does great with respectful kids and enjoys the company of other mellow cats. If you're looking for a peaceful, affectionate companion who just wants to hang out, snuggle up, and snooze, Gashiki might be your perfect match.
