Personality: eager-to-please, rambunctious, outgoing, loyal, adaptable, goofy/funny, snuggler, energetic, playful, affectionate, and smart. Sally is a loyal pup with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. Sally adores her humans and shows it with enthusiastic greetings and affectionate hugs. Her vibrant energy and Velcro-dog personality make her a wonderful companion. This bright and goofy girl loves to explore her surroundings and thrives on activity. She gets along well with other dogs, especially during off-leash play, and her playful personality is contagious. She loves playing fetch and thrives with space to roam and explore outside. Sally also knows how to unwind after a day of fun and will provide endless cuddles on the couch before retiring to her crate and dreaming of her next adventure. Sally is house trained, crate trained, and knows lots of words including “sit,” “stay,” “heel,” “come,” “spin,” and “paw.” She is very eager-to-please and will even go find specific toys when you ask! Sally is also trusted home alone uncrated. This smart cookie would do best in a quiet neighborhood while she builds up her confidence around cars and bikes. If you're looking for a fun-loving and affectionate pup to brighten your days, Sally could be the one for you! Apply today to meet Sally. ___________________________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sally, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
