My story

Re-introducing Yeti!Yeti is a just-over-a-year-old yellow Lab who originally came to us as a tiny pup in July, part of a large hoarding case we helped JPAWS with in Grand Isle.He was quickly adopted and spent a wonderful year in a loving home. Sadly, through no fault of his own, he’s back in our rescue program. Understandably, Yeti is a little confused and heartbroken, but his sweet, gentle nature is still shining through.This playful boy adores other dogs, and thanks to Jacinda, he’s already been matched with a great playgroup to help him settle back into shelter life. Still, nothing beats a real home, and we’d love to get Yeti back on a sofa (foster or forever) as soon as possible. Watching him try to make sense of his return to rescue is just gut-wrenching.Yeti weighs around 50 pounds, is neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and house/crate/leash trained.
