My story

Louis is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Louis is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support when home alone - Currently on a diet free of chicken, dairy, and salmon due to some GI sensitivity More about Louis: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: He has done well with free roam when home alone, once adjusted to his new environment and with the help of anxiety medication Leash walking: He has been doing well overall, when given a little space from other dogs when he seems uncomfortable Dog social: He has not had much close interaction with other dogs while in our care, but has seemed curious yet cautious when he sees other dogs on walks. Cat social: Not a match Kid friendly: He will need an adult-only home, given his nervousness with new people Louis likes: - Cuddling up under some blankets with you - Using his brain and learning new things! - "Helping" you catch up on Real Housewives on the couch Louis is an absolute sweetheart whose adoring eyes will make your soul melt. He is so smart and loves to learn, and will pick up on direction quickly. He can be nervous with new people, so will need an adult-only home where he will be given plenty of time, space, and treats when meeting any new friends. He would therefore also prefer not to live in an elevator building. Whether he is curled up under the covers with you, or greeting you with the best wiggles at the door, Lou loves his trusted humans and makes for the most loyal of companions!
