My story

Hawk is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Hawk is: Neutered: Not yet! He will be neutered on 2/21, and a $150 neuter deposit will be required if adopted prior. Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Hawk: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: No, but he has done well with free roam when home alone, which he prefers to being crated. Leash walking: Doing well overall! He has seemed fearful of people running or making loud noises, but he does well with the city noises. Dog social: Yes! He lives with a confident and playful resident dog in his foster home and has been doing very well. His own confidence seems to really improve with another dog's company. He has a rough-and-tumble play style so is best matched with other playful, tolerant dogs. Cat social: Likely not a match Kid friendly: He has not had close interaction with kids while in our care, but has seemed fearful of kids playing or shouting when he passes them on walks Hawk likes: - Getting in his fruits and veggies - he loves a healthy snack! - Yak chews, squeaky/crinkly toys, and puzzle games - Playing with the dog in the mirror, or an actual dog pal! Hawk is a cuddly little guy who wants nothing more than to be with his person and his dog sibling. Hawk loves to squeeze himself into one dog bed with his foster brother, and will sleep with his snout on your shoulder if you let him. Hawk is the most playful boy, and loves to show off to his dog pal by doing wild parkour zoomies, barrel rolls and somersaults. Hawk's adoption fee is $300, and he is ready to give his love to his person! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hawk, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
