Leash walking: She has shown some reactivity to other dogs and to some male-presenting strangers on walks, and would benefit from continuing to work on this Dog social: She has not had close interaction with other dogs while in our care Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: She has done well in interactions with respectful older kids (12+) AJ likes: - Playing tug - Napping in a sunny spot - Cuddling with her person Almond Joy is a sweet, cuddly girl who loves to start her morning by finding any space near a window to sunbathe. She loves to go on walks and play tug of war, then lounge on the couch once she's tired out, usually snoring loudly. She loves to be around her people, but is also great at self entertaining and will play with her toys or chew on her bones next to you. She is also smart and food-motivated, so loves to learn and use her brain. She would thrive in a home where she'll get plenty of mental enrichment, in addition to all the snuggles. AJ is currently taking medication for anxiety support. Almond Joy's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supported, and she is ready to give her heart to her new family!
