My story

Auden is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Auden is: - Neutered - Up to date on vaccines - Microchipped - Heartworm negative - Currently taking medication for anxiety support Auden is: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: He has done best with free roam when home alone, and with the help of anxiety medication Leash walking: He has shown some frustration on leash when he sees other dogs on walks, though has done fine with a little distance Dog social: He has had successful play dates and even overnights with other dogs, after a slow intro Cat social: Unknown, but he has shown prey drive around small critters on walks Kid friendly: He has lived with a 5, 10, and 11 year old kids and has done well. Auden likes: - Offering snuggles to make you feel better when you're upset - Arranging his bed and blankets to achieve ultimate comfort - Being the sweetest boy and best work-from-home companion - Quality time with his humans, ideally with a nice bone to chew on Auden is a sweet senior guy who gets along well with people of all ages, and has done well with other chill dogs after a slow intro. He can become frustrated on leash when he sees other dogs, so may do best in a neighborhood without a ton of other dogs so he can better enjoy his walks. While he is a pretty low-maintenance fella, he can get anxious when his people leave home without him. Anxiety medication has helped with this, but he will need a patient adopter who can help him work on this as he adjusts to his new home.
