Chunka Change is living at our Adoption Center! You can visit our Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Fill out our quick adoption survey on our website before visiting to streamline the process. Chunka Change is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Chunka Change is still receiving his core puppy vaccine series and will need one additional vaccine after adoption to reach full immunization Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently recovering from having his rear right leg amputated, and has been healing well so far! More about Chunka Change: Housebroken: Not yet, but working on it! With a strict schedule and routine, he will catch on in no time Crate trained: He has done well with being left at home alone in a gated area, for up to 4 hours so far. Leash walking: He hasn't had much practice walking on leash yet, so would benefit from working on this! Dog social: Yes! He lives with other dogs in his foster home, and has been very sweet and social with them Cat social: Yes! He's very gentle and curious when meeting new cats, and lives successfully with dog-savvy cats in his foster home. Kid friendly: Unknown Chunka Change likes: - Getting human affection - Making new pals of all species and sizes - Learning new things! Chunka Change has been through a lot in his short life, but he doesn't let his past get him down! He loves to make new friends and enjoys the company of people, dogs, and cats, and he thinks being pet is one of the greatest things in the whole entire world. Chunka likes to observe when he's in a new environment and you can almost see him processing what's going on around him before he settles in. He is a teething puppy, so has benefited from having guidance with redirecting any chewing or mouthiness (play biting) to appropriate toys. He has been working hard to pick up on all the basics, and would love an adopter who is excited to help him keep learning more. He's super smart and will be so much fun to train! OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. Chunka Change's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet boy is excited to keep growing in his forever home!
