My story

4 year old Rubble is a happy, wiggly, easy going boy who has never met a stranger. He recently spent some afternoons outside the shelter with volunteers: “ Rubble is such a sweet boy! He was excited (and slobbery!) during the car ride at first, but soon settled down. He was great on walks! But my favorite part was hanging out on the couch together, where he enjoyed belly rubs and a lonnngggg nap. He has the cutest snore.”“Rubble is such a cuddle bug! We hung out in my backyard and took some walks around the neighborhood. When he is done walking he will just plop down on the ground, and if you sit by him he will put his big ol` head in your lap...it is the cutest thing! He loves rolling around in the grass and getting but scratches and belly rubs. He also gives the best slobbery kisses! He knows sit and is very treat motivated...he loved the cheeseburger and ice cream that I got for him! He also loves playing fetch and will bring the toy right back to you and drop it by your side! This goofball is a total love bug!”Rubble is not a fan of male dogs and, like all of our pups, he would like to meet any potential (female) canine siblings before heading home to make sure that it’s a good match. He was found as a stray so we don’t know anything about his previous life.He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
