My story

Meet Falkor – Your Real-Life Luckdragon! Falkor is a one-of-a-kind Basset/Terrier mix with the body of a hot dog, the legs of a corgi, the head of a linebacker, and the heart of a golden retriever. At 6 years old and 50 pounds of pure charm, Falkor has been making the CAMO crew laugh, smile, and swoon for over a year and we just don’t get why this magical boy keeps getting overlooked! With his amber eyes, Falkor has a gaze that’ll stop you in your tracks. His black and tan coat is sleek and soft, perfectly draped over his hilariously long body and tiny legs… he’s basically a living cartoon character who walked out of a fairytale. He’s a people-person through and through, with a love for humans that knows no bounds. Volunteers? Obsessed with them. Staff? His favorite. Strangers? Never met one. Dogs? Well… he’s a little picky. He prefers the chill ladies who match his vibe and would probably swipe left on any high-energy party animals. Falkor Facts:    •   Walks like a dream on a leash    •   Treats are the key to his heart    •   Keeps his kennel clean like a little gentleman    •   Total cuddle bug and goofball    •   Staff and volunteer FAVORITE Sadly, Falkor is heartworm positive, but don’t let that stop you, CAMO will continue to cover his treatment even after adoption. He’s already received a Proheart 12 injection (that’s a full year of protection!), and there are no activity restrictions at all. All he needs is someone who can get him to a CAMO approved vet for his follow-ups, and he’s golden. Falkor has spent over a year waiting patiently in the kennel, and while we love him to pieces… he deserves a living room, a couch, and a human of his own. Our wish? That he finishes his Never Ending Story with YOU! Adoption fee is: $300.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
