My story

Courtesy Post- Bonded Pair looking for adopter or foster... Bio written by current foster: Allow me to introduce you to Harper and Freya, my foster dogs! Harper (age 5) and Freya (age 8 )are a bonded pair of sweet girls. They are true besties. They go everywhere together, they check on each other, and—if they’re not up and about—they’re almost always physically touching each other. Harper (55 lbs) is lighter in color and slightly taller. She is a totally sweet snuggle bug, but she is cautious when approaching new situations. While anxiety has been a problem for her in the past, she seems to have grown in confidence and bravery. She has had some issues with an an ACL sprain that seems to bother her after heavy activity or when it’s going to rain. It is not a major issue at this point, but she could benefit from ongoing monitoring. Harper loves snuggles with people and Freya. She is reportedly a lab mix. Freya (46 lbs.) is slightly darker and smaller. She is reportedly a pit bull mix. She is intensely curious and motivated to pursue whatever sparks her interest. She learns new skills easily, and she looks out for Harper. She is more independent than Harper, and she is a very confident dog. But when it’s snuggle time, she’s all in! Both girls are spayed and up to date on distemper, rabies, bordatella, and canine flu. In terms of other health/hygiene issues, I’m working on them on getting rid of some tartar buildup as well as tolerating toenail trims. These two are truly sisters from different misters and would do best in a home that would welcome both of them. They are… Good with both men and women. Good with other dogs. I don’t know whether they are good with children. They are NOT good with cats at this time. Thanks for reading! Please share this post so we can find them a new happy home! I’m even willing to drive a bit to meet someone who’d love them. Last detail: these girls are not up for adoption through a specific rescue group, but I will be doing my own checks to make sure they’re going to a good home. There will also be an adoption fee, but it will just be reimbursement of expenses. I’ll update this post when I add up what’s been spent on them. All apps will be forwarded accordingly and can be completed here: https://www.dogworksohio.com/adoption-application.html This foster home has cats so they are looking for a foster home that is safe until adoption, if you are willing to foster, apply here and someone with DogworksOhio will contact you: https://www.dogworksohio.com/foster-application-and-agreement.html

If you have any questions or would like to adopt *Courtesy Post * Harper/Freya, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
