My story

FOSTERED IN: Homewood, IL 60430 ESTIMATED DOB: 01/2024 COLOR/BREED: Tabby and White Shorthair KIDS: Yes DOGS: Unknown CATS: Yes HISTORY: Salami came to us from an animal control facility. ABOUT: Salami’s foster describes him as: Happy, Playful, Curious, Persistent, and Active. Salami is very social and he loves to be pet and even enjoys being held. If there is action, he is part of it, if there is downtime like watching TV or reading, he is happy to just settle in to relax with you. Salami is great at reading the room and going with the flow. Salami loves to play with toys, and he isn’t picky. He will play with cat toys, or your kid’s toys - whatever is available. Salami is a very sweet and patient boy. He loves to greet his fosters with happy meows in the morning when they wake up and follows them to his bowl (so they can fill it) or the windows (so they can open the curtains.) He spends most of his time following his foster family around to see what they are doing and is rarely found too far away. He likes to be where the action is. He even feels that no one should go to the restroom alone, so we hope you like company. He is a great supervisor and loves to watch meal preparation - and will occasionally get closer for a little sniff of what you are eating. Salami is being fostered with a 10 year old and he actively solicits attention from him. They enjoy watching TV together and playing with toys. Salami was previously fostered with his brother and they got along well including sleeping, and playing together. He is currently being fostered alone so would do well as an only cat or with another cat. Salami did get bullied a bit by his brother so he will do best with another easy-going mild mannered cat who won’t pick on him. His foster said Salami is an excellent companion who will be a great addition to just about any family. Interested in adding one of our adoptables to your family?
