Energetic, spunky, and --- oh my gosh --- those EARS! Oyster's favorite activities are romping and rolling in soft grass, getting tummy scratches, napping, pouncing on socked feet, and chomping on bones and chews. She has a little underbite that is very endearing, and one of the sweetest pittie smiles on the planet! Oyster is highly food-motivated and eager to please! She already knows dozens of commands including, "sit," "down," "wait," "stay," "leave it," "drop it," and "touch." She is fully housetrained, has good leash manners, and excellent bath and mealtime etiquette. Oyster would love to be the center of attention in her new home but is also friendly around other dogs and would enjoy having a canine brother or sister she can romp and roughhouse with! Other small animals in the home (cats, rabbits, etc.) are not the best fit for her due to her desire to chase. OYSTER COULD BE A GREAT FIT FOR YOU IF YOU: live in quiet, low-traffic home/neighborhood; are organized and routine-oriented; work from home or are only away from home 2-3 days a week.OYSTER COULD BE A PERFECT FIT FOR YOU IF YOU: are more of a homebody and aren't looking for a dog who requires a lot of outdoor exercise; have experience working with Oyster's breed (pitbull/staffie); have a personality as quirky and wonderfully weird as hers! Originally found scared and abandoned in an NYC apartment building and placed on ACC's at-risk list, Oyster has thrived in foster care. Now she is ready to find her forever family!
