My story

🍊 Meet Orange Pop – A Sweet, Blind Senior with a Big Heart 🍊 Orange Pop is a charming 12-year-old gentleman with striking orange and white fur and loving personality. He’s declawed, completely blind, and partially hard of hearing — but he’s adapted beautifully and has his own unique way of navigating the world. Despite his disabilities, Orange Pop is full of character. He’s a professional napper who enjoys lounging near (or on) his favorite people, and he can be quite the talker when he's feeling social. If he gets disoriented, he may yell out for help — but as soon as he hears a calm, familiar voice, he settles right down. He’s especially fond of wet food, silver vine toys, and, of course, a good head scratch. He’d love nothing more than to spend all day cuddling/sleeping on the couch. In foster care since fall 2024, Orange Pop has adjusted well to a relaxed lifestyle. He’s met a dog and was indifferent, and its unknown how he is with cats. His foster has had small and larger gatherings in the home and he is fine with lots of people - as long as he gets head scratches. Because of his sensory limitations, Orange Pop would do best in a stable home with adults or older, gentle children who can understand his needs. He thrives in a peaceful environment and appreciates a consistent routine with loving companionship. If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate companion to share quiet moments and cozy naps, Orange Pop could be the perfect fit. He’s ready to spend his golden years in comfort, surrounded by kindness — and he’d love nothing more than to share that time with you!
