My story

“The capacity for love makes dogs such rewarding companions." This makes us think of our wonderful Clark! If you want to adopt a medium sized companion, he could be the one! Why we love him: Clark is so smart, playful and fun! He loves being around people! Clark is truly an exceptional dog who will be an amazing family companion! He lives each day to the fullest and is a truly joyful presence! Clark is as sweet as he is handsome, and that is saying a lot! His soft and silky tri color coat is perfect for petting, which he greatly enjoys. Clark is two years old and weighs 54 pounds. Lucky Clark recently spent some time out of the shelter and his foster says: "Clark loves cuddling and being with his person, whether in the living room, outside, or in the car. His favorite things are walks, being outside, and snuggling. Clark is so easy to please. He doesn't bark or whine. Clark has great intuition and intelligence. He would do best with a a couple, or a small family with older teenagers. Clark crates so well. He enjoys a fenced back yard, and prefers having a companion with him. Clark is very social and would do wonderfully with someone who is active and at home or could take Clark along. Clark is incredible! He is so easy to love and bonds quickly." One of our dedicated volunteers observes: "Clark is a high energy pup and has a great personality! He is very smart, takes direction, and knows sit. Clark is treat motivated and absolutely loves to run! He would make a fantastic running or hiking buddy. I think an active person/family would be his best fit." Another volunteer reports: "I love spending time in the fenced yard with Clark. It's such fun to watch him have such a great time playing with the toys. Even better, once he is done, Clark is ready for some quality cuddle time. He has such a wonderful heart! Seeing Clark's happy doggy face and merry brown eyes always makes my day - he is so special!" Clark is a sought after companion on daily walks and enjoys being close by your side to explore the beautiful trails on our shelter grounds. He is glad to help you get your daily exercise! Clark looks forward to his outings in the fenced yard, where he loves to run and play. It is a great outlet for his energy! Clark is so agile and athletic. Playing with the toys is one of his favorite things. Clark has such a loving personality and is so affectionate. He is always ready for a pet and a cuddle and we love spending time with him! Clark really likes to hang out with you to enjoy the day. He is a bright dog who wants to please and should master any commands you wish to teach him. Clark already knows how to sit. Clark loves going on field trips with our volunteers. He does well in the car, enjoys exploring new places and savors the treat of a pup cup. Clark can be selective of his canine companions, so we we do require a meet and greet if you have another dog. He does need a home without cats. Clark will be such a fun and loyal family dog! He is the best! We are so grateful to Joel Alexander for his beautiful photos of our dogs. E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt CLARK, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
