My story

Sweet baby boy Cornell! Another beautiful soul left at the shelter by someone didn't appreciate the love of this sentient being. There were notes provided as to why he was given up, but it doesn't matter; we know he's a lovely, kind, gentle boy with so much life left to live! All Cornell wants is love - and maybe some treats. Cornell is a barely a year old and his whole life ahead of him; can he spend it with you? Came in as an owner surrender on 9/17/24. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
