Meet Donkey, a 1-year-old English Coonhound mix who was transferred to Big Dog Ranch from a shelter in Georgia in search of his forever home. With his sweet temperament and easygoing nature, Donkey is sure to bring joy to the right family. He has a moderate energy level—he enjoys playtime with his toys and canine friends, but he’s just as happy to settle in for a cuddle session. Donkey is good on a leash and gets along well with other dogs, making him a great companion for walks, playdates, or just lounging at home. He’s still working on his basic commands and potty training, so a patient and consistent adopter will help him continue to learn and grow. Donkey would do well with someone who has little or no prior dog experience. He’s affectionate, friendly, and ready to bond with a person or family who will love and care for him.
