My story

Tootsie is a 10-12 week old,10 pound beautiful female pup who found herself with little to no exposure to people prior to being dropped at an overcrowded shelter. Along with her sister Louise, Tootsie is slowly starting to trust and enjoy the menagerie of friends happily offering to hold, love on, and play with her in her foster home. With her one blue and one brown eye, Tootsie always has someone wanting to hold her! Initially shy, Tootsie is currently being fostered with 4 other dogs, which has helped Tootsies personality blossom as she is learning “how to be a dog”. For this reason, a home with another dog is required, along with a patient family who is willing to encourage Tootsie to continue to be her true self - you won’t be sorry! Tootsie is crate trained and is making great progress in house training. She enjoys going on daily walks and exploring the woods near her foster home with the other adult dogs leading the way. Because Tootsie is still a puppy, she will need someone able to let her out every 1-2 hours to continue to be fully housebroken. She has made great progress since joining her foster family, and is food motivated and SMART! Currently, Tootsies ears are “having a party”……we never know if both of them will be up, down, or flipped back! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs!
