My story

Meet Yam, a big-hearted, affectionate boy who’s ready to roll (literally!) into your life. Yam is an expert at spreading joy, whether he’s strolling by your side on a leash, lounging for belly rubs, or dishing out sweet kisses. This large adult dog is as well-mannered as they come. He’s great in the car, making him the perfect companion for road trips or quick errands, and he’s a polite walking buddy who enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace. Yam also has a playful side, and when he’s not busy being the best cuddle bug ever, he loves to roll around and show off his goofy charm. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to brighten your days, Yam is your guy. Come meet him today—he’s ready to be your new best friend! ~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
