Meet Zima – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Patient Home Zima is a stunning, green-eyed beauty with a sleek white coat and a delicate light gray spot on her head. At around 3 years old, she came to the rescue from a hoarding situation with her kittens, all of whom have found their forever homes—now it’s her turn. This sweet but shy girl has come a long way in learning to trust people. While she still prefers affection on her own terms, she enjoys gentle pets and will eagerly rub against your legs when wet food is involved. She loves lounging in sunny windows and chasing the elusive red dot of a laser pointer. Zima needs an experienced and patient adopter who understands that she will take time—possibly months—to fully settle in. She cannot be picked up and would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where she can feel safe. She does well with calm, independent cats and dogs that respect her space.
