My story

The most precious jewel, could be looking right at you! Jewels is a 2 year old grey land hippo that was recently brought into our care as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. Her family was moving and had to make the hard decision to leave her behind. She spent her first few days unsure of why they weren`t coming for her, now she has become more comfortable with our staff and her personality is shining. Jewels loves to be outside where she can photosynthesis in the sun, likes to wear bandanas that bring out her eyes, and loves to show you her dazzling smile. She is heartworm negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and spayed. She has been in a home previously and will be easy to re- house train.
