Meet Nellis! Small but Mighty, with a Heart Full of Love!Nellis may be little, but he’s got the heart of a lion and a sweet, gentle soul. This playful pup loves to jump, chase, and explore with endless energy, bringing joy wherever he goes. Though Nellis is full of love, he takes a little time to warm up and trust his new humans. We completely understand knowing his history of being abused. Once he feels safe, he’ll reward your patience with affectionate kisses and gentle hand licks. He loves sitting on your lap for some cozy snuggle time and will quickly become your loyal little companion. Nellis is crate trained and potty trained, but he’ll need time to adjust to a new environment. He’ll look to you for guidance and reassurance as he figures out the rules and who he can play with. He also needs slow introductions to new doggos. Once he trusts them it’s all good from there. Always alert, Nellis will also let you know when someone new is around, making him the perfect mix of playful companion, cuddle buddy, and trusty little watchdog.If you’re ready to give Nellis the love and patience he needs, he’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and affection!
