My story

Name: Naomi Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 11 months old (as of 3/15/25) Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Mix - Tabby Weight: About 1 year old Good With: People, and other cats and kittens! Story: Naomi is an adorable Domestic Short Hair Mix young kitty, who was rescued from an outdoor colony. We are so happy to have her with us now in a foster home! Naomi is a happy and sweet young kitten. She spends her days playing with her foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have. What my foster says: Naomi is a beautiful tabby who was rescued as a kitten from an outdoor colony at the Brazilian Embassy along with her parents and brother Brazil.  She has adjusted well to the safety of indoor life and enjoyed hanging out with her brother until he was adopted.  She was a bit shy with her foster at first, but now loves to find him frequently when she wants attention and petting!  She enjoys the companionship of other cats, and will occasionally play with them but is not a high energy girl.  Naomi is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be picked up much, but will tolerate it.  Naomi will be best in a quiet home with a patient owner who can help her to continue to blossom into her best self!  Naomi would be best in a home without very young children who might scare her, and a young confident kitty friend would be wonderful for her to spend her time with!  Are you the one to give Naomi the love and support she needs? The fee to adopt Naomi is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of vaccines appropriate for her age, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home.
