My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Kit Kat was laying on top of the Karina bed with very large pupils staring out. He sniff treats, but didn't eat them allowed approach and allowed, gentle petting seemingly appreciating it while remaining a bit tense and pulling back Somewhat. At times, he appeared as if he wanted to come down off the bed, but he couldn't quite do it and remained in place, he's a sweet cat who needs a little more time. Kit Kat interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. A volunteer writes: I am truly quite fond of Kit Kat... he rested peacefully on a shelf in his kennel and didn't seem to have too much interest in me when I opened the door. I spoke softly to him for a few minutes and then stretched my hand out. He seemed to soften after a few seconds of petting but still remained on his shelf. I think he liked the pets I had to offer because I think he leaned into them a bit and gently closed his eyes. I think Kit Kat needs a patient adopter that knows he is not the cat that will run into your arms the first second he meets you.
