My story

Hey there! My name is Ash! I am a 1 year old, female, dilute tortoiseshell. I have under developed eye lids and need eye drops throughout the day. I am prone to eye ulcers so it`s important that I stay on antibiotic eye drops. I am a very affectionate cuddle bug. I can be shy and nervous in new situations but once I warm up, I want to be your best friend. I am loving and super sweet. I am obsessed with wand toys and will pant with excitement if you take one out. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
