KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: He is house and crate trained KNOWN LIKES: Treats KNOWN DISLIKES: People who move too fast with him and loud noises ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Tanner is a 1-year-old beagle mix who has been transferred from one of our rural shelter partners. He was abused by his former adopters and as a result, exhibits some anxiety when meeting new people and requires time to adjust to a new environment and build trust. Nevertheless, he interacts positively with other dogs and shows increased confidence in a home that includes them. He loves to play with bones and chew on them. He loves chewing on bones; specifically soup bones. He loves playing with toys and running around with the resident dogs. With patience and understanding, Tanner will gradually become more at ease with new individuals, making it crucial for him to find a family willing to provide the time he needs to adapt. Once Tanner has settled in, he becomes a loving companion, eagerly greeting you with a wagging tail and a gentle demeanor. He seeks affection by nuzzling against your legs and offers soft kisses. Tanner enjoys being petted and loves to cuddle on the couch, often following you around the house. He is such a chill and easy dog. Tanner is searching for his forever home? Could you be the one?
