My story

Hello everyone, I'm Vida! Like my name says, I’ve got a lust for life… the good life that is! I’m an easy-going, affectionate girl who loves lounging with my humans in the sunshine. My idea of a perfect day? A leisurely walk, a long nap in a cozy spot, and maybe a car ride with the windows down so I can feel the breeze. I’m a very good girl—crate and leash trained, and I know lots of commands. The only one I sometimes struggle with is “space.” In my world, being close to my people is the best thing ever, so I’ll need a little help with setting boundaries. Now, I’ll let you in on my diva side: I prefer to be the star of the show. That means I’d do best as your one-and-only pet. I’ve been known to guard my food and toys, so it’s best if I get all the love and attention in the home (and trust me, I’ll give it right back in spades!). Outside the house, I do fine with other dogs if we take introductions slow. As for kids, I haven’t had much experience, but I think we’d get along well if they understand my love of downtime and respect my space when I’m resting.
