My story

My adorable crooked little teefs mirror my personality. They are unique and endearing, like me! My name is Rooney and I’m 3 years old. I’ve been showing off my smile lately because I’m hoping it will help me finally find true love. I’ve seen a lot for my young age. Some good. Some bad. I’ve had my heart broken more times than I want to remember but I remain optimistic. I still dream of waking up in my own bed and eating breakfast with my family. Playing with my favorite toys during the day, then snuggling up at night while I drift off to sleep knowing I’m protected, safe and will never be abandoned again.In my mind, I can hear my family tell me what a good boy I am and how they can’t imagine life without me. That’s all I’ve ever wanted. Just thinking of it makes me well up inside. Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I’m a great catch! I’m a quiet, easygoing low rider who walks nicely on leash and politely accepts snacks. Neck massages, tummy rubs and butt scratchies make me happy and I like making new friends.
